Hey everyone -just about to take possession of a 2013 Coda.Does anyone know where I can buy an Omitec scanner that has the software program for the Coda ? - thanks -Dave

i am also looking for the same. i searched online but found some sites selling omitec scanners in europe. not sure where to get the coda specific file. also i want to find out CAN bus message ids information for coda so we can try to decode can bus data.

Coda uses can bus to communicate between different modules.here link on can http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAN_bus

Silica - thanks.I've heard that the Coda diagnostic software can be used on a laptop, which actually can be easier than using the scanner. Trying to get a copy of the software. -D

thanks. let me know if you find that software. i am planning to install seat heaters for mine. i got dorman 628-040 heater kit. hope i can remove my leather seat covers...and put these on.

I've got the laptop software but you'll need to buy a pass through device to be able talk to the car. The software has no a killing to flash any modules, it only allows you to read all the codes, gives basic descriptions and look at all the BMS protocols and parameters.

Thanks sea2sum, That would be very helpful. Its safe to use if it can read the BMS data. I know Nissan leaf owners using standard obd adapter to monitor BMS information.
They mapped most of the Nissan can bus data.

hello sea2sum Iam interested in software for laptop(HP 625 win 7). is this a standard OBD2 connector? If so i have a "Y" connector. What connector for the laptop?

we have the Coda Cam software up on our website for sale.

you will need to buy the national instruments usb to cam adaptor and build your self an ob2 connector.
